All materials and use of equipment included.

£10 per hour
Must have previous experience and bring own glass rods and mandrels. Bead release will be supplied. Beads on mandrels to be collected from the following day.

Jewellery Making using handmade glass beads

£25 per person

(maximum 2 people)

All beads and components included. All you can create in one and a half hours. Necklaces, bracelets and key rings.

What is glass bead making (lamp work)?

The process involves melting the end of a glass rod in a flame, then wrapping the molten glass around a steel rod. Dozens of colours and a vast array of techniques means the scope for unique bead designs is almost limitless.

I have enjoyed making glass beads in my garden workshop since 2005.
